About Joaquin
Joaquin Pope is an actor, singer, dancer, and creative based in New York City. Originally from New Mexico, Joaquin made the exhilarating move to NYC to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre at Molloy University/CAP21, where he is set to graduate this spring! Over the past four years, Joaquin has immersed himself in conservatory-style training developing his skills through an extensive study of acting, vocal, and dance techniques.
Since moving to New York, Joaquin has had the opportunity to perform in numerous productions, most notablyThe Wedding Singer directed by Melissa Firlit, Seussical directed by Darren Lee, Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party directed by Billy Bustamante, and Seth Rudetsky & Broadway Friends at Carnegie Hall. Joaquin can be seen on stage next in April as Aladdin in A Dream Is A Wish Princess Concert at The Madison Theatre.
While Joaquin loves to perform in musical theatre, he continues to extend his artistic skill set and is always ready to try something new. He has found an emerging interest in the view from the other side of the table after making his creative producing debut in Second Wind Entertainment’s recent production of Avenue Q in Sacramento. Additionally, Joaquin has enjoyed exploring the world of film and television having worked on numerous sets as a background & stand-in actor including: Mean Girls (2024), Babygirl, YOU, The Diplomat, Blue Bloods, Harlem, FBI: Most Wanted, and all three Law & Order series (Original, SVU, and Organized Crime).
